Lessons and reflections
I developed and team-taught the following lessons through Oberlin College’s Spanish in the Elementary Schools program. During the 2009 - 2010 academic year, I taught two fourth-grade classes a short, twice-weekly Spanish class.
- Visitamos Buenos Aires - A lesson focused on culture in which we take an imaginary trip to Buenos Aires Argentina and visit a festival of folk music and dance. An accompanying worksheet can be found under classroom materials.
- Collected lessons, Spring 2010 - A compilation of lessons and short reflections from one semester of teaching Spanish.
Syllabi
I had the opportunity to design and teach a course on typography and graphic design through Oberlin College’s Experimental College program. Though I team-taught the course with a friend, the syllabi were largely of my own construction.
